Shah Rukh Khan is being called out by the netizens for his insensitive and controversial statement towards Jawan’s director Atlee’s wife Priya

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying the release of his recent film Jawan. His first collaboration with Atlee is being celebrated by audiences all over the country. From the badass action sequences to the cameos of well-known faces of the internet, fans are busy hailing the masterpiece. In the midst of all the excitement, a video of the actor from the movie’s audio launch has gone viral which has not gone down well with the netizens.

Known for his charm, wit and dark sense of humour, SRK can be seen standing on the stage talking about his collaboration with director Atlee and expressing his gratitude. He proceeds to point at the filmmaker’s wife Priya, who is sitting in the front row, and thank her. He goes on to say, “We’ll produce another child. I mean you and Atlee, not me.” As the audience and the former actress herself were busy laughing, the actor adds, “Now Atlee and I can co produce also. There is no problem. We are friends now.”

While fans commended his sense of humour pointing out that the baby SRK was talking about is another one of their movies, a section of the internet called his statements cheap. They took to the comment section of the post to express their opinions. One wrote, “Flow flow me kuch jada hi bol diya Khan sahab ne.” Another wrote, “Shame on him man.” Other one wrote, “How could you be respectful toward woman? On the work front, SRK will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Starring Taapsee Pannu, the movie is one of the most-awaited projects of SRK till date. His character Pathaan will also be seen making a cameo in YRF’s Tiger 3, co-starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
