ARIJIT SINGH RECALLS FUNNY INCIDENT WITH KAPIL SHARMA
In a recent interview with The Music Podcast YouTube channel, Arijit Singh recounted a comedic anecdote from his past. He humorously revealed that he and Kapil Sharma unintentionally found themselves in a situation where they ended up making a mess of someone else’s room during an after-party following a concert.
He mentioned that during a tour in Australia, he accidentally trashed the suite given to him by the event organisers. According to the ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ singer, he had invited fellow attendees, including comedian Kapil Sharma, to a party in the suite after his performance. The party lasted for several hours, leaving the suite in a complete mess.
“After the show, everyone wanted to party. I said my room is really big, let’s go there,” he said and added, “Kapil Sharma was also there.”
He continued, ‘So we went there and partied for some 5-6 hours. We trashed the entire room, it was a like dustbin by the end of it. Then we had to go out but as we were leaving, I saw a woman’s sandal and dress in the room and everyone started looking at me. I said I have no idea about it and we were all laughing and left. As we locked the door and were stepping out, we saw 2-3 people heading towards our room. I was thinking why are they coming here? They opened that room with their key and went in, and we ran from there. We ran and had no idea where we were going. After a while, we came back and saw those people were fighting at the reception.’
Arijit also added why they ended up in the organiser’s room. ‘It was actually the organiser’s room but they gave it to me before the show so I thought it’s my room,’ concluded Arijit.
