Kareena Kapoor asks Ranveer Singh to ‘park the car’ as he congratulates her for 22 years of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’
That being said, as K3G recently clocked 22 years, fans also took to social media platforms recalling the iconic characters and some of the most memorable moments from the film. When talking about the film, who can forget Poo? Well, the character that single-handedly carried the flag of childhood cool wearing sunglasses, rejecting boys, and of course those one-liners that were equally savage. Kareena Kapoor as Pooja aka Poo still remains a constant favorite for many.
On the film’s 22nd anniversary, Kareena Kapoor also posted a video celebrating the occasion while expressing her love for the film. “22 years and still going strong,” Kareena wrote in the caption. The video includes various clips of Kareena as Poo and her iconic dialogues like “Kaun hai yeh jisne dobara mudh ke mujhe nahi dekha?” and “Tum he koi haq nahi banta ki tum itni khoobsurat lago.. Not fair!”
While fans were left nostalgic with the video, it was actor Ranveer Singh’s hilarious comment that caught fans’ attention.
Taking to the comment section of the actress’s Instagram post, Ranveer Singh in his Rocky Randhawa style from Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani dialogue wrote, “Hi babez. Rocky Randhawa this side.” While Ranveer exuded his fanboy moment through the comment, it was Kareena Kapoor’s coolest response that came out as a winner.
Channelling her inner Poo, the actress replied, “Hi darling, park the car.” The online banter between Kareena and Ranveer has left fans amused as many reacted to the comment.
On the other hand, many others including filmmaker Karan Johar, Amrita Arora, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Soha Ali Khan also dropped their reactions. “Always looking PHAT,” Karan Johar wrote with heart emojis, while Karisma Kapoor commented, “You are my Soniya.”
“Pooooooooo,” Malaika Arora wrote with several heart emojis.
In the meantime, the film’s milestone has not just stirred nostalgia among fans but has also left the team overwhelmed. Director Karan Johar and actress Kajol also took to their respective Instagram handles and shared special posts.
Released in 2001, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham features a multi-starcast of Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan among others.
