Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta may have ended their 16-year-long marriage in 2002, but it was not a bitter separation. They also have two children together; son Junaid Khan and daughter, Ira Khan. The ex-couple continues sharing a cordial relationship. On September 13, the two were papped together in Mumbai as they were seen exiting a store.

Aamir Khan and his ex-wives, Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, were seen at a book launch in Bandra, Mumbai, last month. They attended the launch of filmmaker Mansoor Khan’s book One: The Story of Ultimate Myth.

Meanwhile, Aamir and his first wife Reena were clicked together as they exited a store in Mumbai last night, September 13. The ex-couple happily posed for the photographers too. Aamir was seen dressed in a blue kurta and jeans while Reena wore a purple kurta and white pants. After posing for the cameras, the two eventually made their way to their car and left together.

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s relationship started out in a very filmy way. Both were neighbours and often stole glances at each other for hours through their windows. Aamir finally gathered the courage to tell her about his love, but Reena turned him down. He persuaded her a few more times, but Reena’s answer was always negative.

Just when Aamir had given up hope, Reena confessed to him that she felt the same way about him. During an interview back in 1999, he had said, “I spent a little more time than natural in front of my window. I just told her that I loved her and I hoped that she felt the same about me.”

Aamir and Reena got married in 1986. The couple ended their marriage in 2002. Later, Aamir married Kiran Rao in 2005, and together they have a son, Azad Rao Khan. However, their marriage ended in 2021.
