Deepika Padukone’s old interview has resurfaced where she was asked to choose a better dancer between her husband Ranveer Singh and her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor
Deepika Padukone is currently over the moon enjoying the success of Jawan as her role is being celebrated by the audiences. Being one of the most-sought after actresses in the Hindi entertainment industry, she has made a name for herself with her versatile performances. However, she often falls prey to trolling. Recently an old video of her resurfaced where the netizens continually mocked for not moving on from her ex-boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor.
In the video that is currently going viral on social media, the actress is asked who between her husband Ranveer Singh and her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor is most likely to win a dance off. Posted by Deepika’s fan page on Instagram, she gets shocked listening to the question. She goes on to express how the question is tough and contemplates her answers. As the reporter urges her to choose, she says that if she does she will get into a lot of trouble. She eventually passes up the question.
Netizens were left disappointed in the 37-year-old’s answer. While many expressed how Ranveer was the obvious choice for question, some theorised that she never truly moved on from Ranbir. One wrote, ‘She should’ve chosen Ranveer at any given point, get in trouble for what?! Choosing your hubby.’ Another wrote, ‘Really? tough? Easily it’s Ranveer. And he’s a her husband so its should be the natural choice as well. It shows she has never really moved on from Ranbir.’ Other one wrote, ‘Ranveer Singh deserve better life partner.’
For the unversed, after going through a really bad breakup with Ranbir, Deepika fell in love with Ranveer while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. She has Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter, Prabhas starrer Project K and the remake of The Intern, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan in the pipeline.
