Drashti Dhami silences trolls questioning the authenticity of her baby bump
Ever since Drashti Dhami announced her pregnancy, several trolls and social media users have pointed out that her baby bump seems missing. Some even went to the lengths of alleging that the actress is flaunting a fake baby bump. On July 3, the actress took to her social media account to shut down all such rumours and give the trolls a befitting reply.
The actress posted a video of herself caressing her baby bump while posing for the shutterbugs in her house. She donned a red overall outfit for the shoot. Along with the video, Drashti wrote, “Proof that my baby bump is not just a really big lunch.” Previously actress Deepika Padukone, who is currently in her third trimester, was also targeted by trolls. Some users pointed fingers at the way the Jawan actress was seated at an event and others claimed that she is not pregnant at all and is faking her baby bump. Deepika too shunned all naysayers by posting photos flaunting her baby bump.
Drashti Dhami announces pregnancy in a quirky manner
On June 14, the actress took to her Instagram and shared a cute video announcing the baby’s arrival in October. In the clip, the couple is seen holding their drinks while displaying a poster that reads, ‘Could be Pink, Could be Blue. All we know is that we are due! October 2024.’ Drashti and Neeraj’s family members also appear in the video, celebrating the big news.
The actress captioned the post: “In a galaxy not so far away, a tiny rebel is joining our crazy tribe Please send love, blessings, cash and french fries our way #BabyKOnBoard We can’t wait for October 2024.’ Drashti and Neeraj tied the knot on February 21, 2015.
