Ranbir Kapoor once revealed how his ex-girlfriend would break his awards on getting angry

Ranbir Kapoor once revealed that he has a girlfriend who will break trophies for him every time they fight. He is currently in a relationship with Alia Bhatt. In the past he has been rumoured to be dating Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. In an interview in 2017, Ranbir opened up about winning the Filmfare Awards back-to-back and how it was an “extraordinary moment” for him.
He recalled receiving the Critics’ Choice and Popular Categories award for Rockstar in 2011. “Your ex-girlfriends always tell me, ‘Look at how many awards she’s won and look at us’,” Filmfare editor-in-chief Jitesh Pillai said. To which Ranbir revealed, “There was a girlfriend of mine, every time we fought she used to break an award.” He added with a laugh, “I used to say ‘Arre, woh Filmfare haath mat lagana (don’t touch my Filmfare Award).’”
Ranbir has been dating Alia for quite some time. They recently traveled to Kenya to celebrate the New Year. She shared glimpses of their trip on Instagram and wrote, “Giving 2022 some hakuna matata energy. Stay safe … smile … Be simple and love more !!!!! Happy New Year.” In another post, she became an inspiring muse for her boyfriends as she captioned, “Casually flexing my boyfriend’s photography skills.”
Ranbir and Alia will soon be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, part one of A fantasy trilogy . The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni, hits theaters on September 30.
