Stars who refused to work with each other
Bollywood is like one big family and when there are so many members in one group clashes are bound to happen. We all love to see some fresh pairings on screen but there have been times when stars have declined to work with each other for several reasons. Gossip mongers have had a roll of time when rumours of a star getting another star getting replaced in a film have hit headlines. On that note, here’s looking at stars who reportedly refused to work with each other.
Deepika Padukone – Vicky Kaushal
Reportedly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to cast Vicky as Maharawal Ratan Singh in Padmaavat. But, it is said that Deepika wasn’t keen on romancing the actor at that time. She wanted an A-list actor to star opposite her in the film.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – Salman Khan
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Salman Khan worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The two were reportedly supposed to feature in Bajirao Mastani also, but they broke up and later decided not to professionally team up with each other. It is said that SLB also wanted Aish and Salman in Padmaavat. The actress had also stated once that SLB couldn’t find a Bajirao and Khilji for her.
Ranveer Singh – Katrina Kaif
Moviegoers are eagerly waiting to watch Ranveer and Katrina on the big screen together. Reportedly, the Bajirao Mastani actor was approached for Baar Baar Dekho, but he turned down the offer. While there’s no personal issue between the two, it is said that Ranveer rejected the film because of Deepika. Reportedly, at that time Deepika and Katrina were not in good terms with each other.
