Today is a historic day for India as the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Chandrayaan 3 makes a successful landing on the moon. Reportedly, India became the first country to make a soft landing on the south pole with Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft. Whereas the country becomes the fourth one to land on the moon. With this achievement, a few Bollywood celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and others were seen celebrating this historic win.

Bollywood celebs celebrate Chandrayaan 3 landing

Akshay Kumar tweeted, “A billion hearts saying THANK YOU @isro. You’ve made us so proud. Lucky to be watching India make history. India is on the moon, we are over the moon. #Chandrayaan3”. Akshay even starred in Mission Mangal which was based on ISRO and its mission to Mars. Whereas Ajay Devgn said, “Proud, amazed, excited, honoured to be living this moment of history!! भारत माता की जय  #Chandrayaan3 @isro”

Even R Madhavan who made a biopic on Nambi Narayanan, an ISRO scientist expressed his happiness. He wrote, “Words are not enough to describe this achievement Jai Hind, my heart swells with pride. I hope I can stay sane.”

Shah Rukh khan also shared a post on the same, saying, “Chaand Taare todh laoon. Saari Duniya par main chhaoon. Aaj india aur #ISRO chhaa gaya. Congratulations to all the scientists and engineers…the whole team which has made India so proud. Chandrayaan-3 has successfully soft-landed on the moon. #Chandrayaan3”
