Raashi Khanna and Vijay Sethupathi have wrapped up the shoot of their upcoming film Tughlaq Durbar. The actress took to social media and shared a few photos with Vijay Sethupathi.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Tughlaq Durbar is one of the most anticipated films in Kollywood. The political satire flick, directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan, also features Raashi Khanna and Bigg Boss Tamil fame Samyuktha in key roles. Earlier, Aditi Rao Hydari was playing the female lead in the film, but due to date issues, she backed out of the project.
The first look poster of the movie was released in July last year creating a lot of buzz around the movie. It had received an overwhelming response from fans and celebrities alike. Now, the movie has completed shooting and its heroine Raashi Khanna took to Twitter to announce it with an adorable selfie along with Vijay Sethupathi.
She wrote, ‘And it’s the end of another beautiful journey #TughlaqDurbar with the super talented @VijaySethuOffl sir! Thankyou @DDeenadayaln sir and team for making this such a memorable one! Can’t wait for you to see this one! @7screenstudio @proyuvraaj(Sic).’
Raashi shares screen space with Vijay Sethupathi for the second time after Sangathamizhan (2019). Tughlaq Durbar, also stars Manjima Mohan, Karunakaran, and Bagavathi Perumal. Actor Radhakrishnan Parthiban, who has worked with Vijay Sethupathi previously in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan also plays an important role in the film.
It is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studios, in association with Viacom 18 Studios. The dialogues of the film are penned by Balaji Tharaneetharan and Govind Vasantha has composed music for the film.
On the movie front, Raashi Khanna’s upcoming films include Aranmanai 3, Methavi and Shaitan Ka Bachcha. On the other hand, Vijay has a bunch of films in his kitty including Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, co-starring Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni. He also awaits the release of his film Master starring Thalapathy Vijay, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kaithi fame.
